Religions in India
India is the birth place of four of the world’s major religious traditions; namely Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism. Four main religion were born in India while the others came with invaders, travellers and missionaries from abroad. The Indian religions are so diverse and so widespread, that it is difficult to club India under one religion. The religious festivals are celebrated by all, as Indians, irrespective of caste and religion

Christianity : Christianity is India’s third-largest religion, with approximately 24 million followers, constituting 4% of India’s population. Mainly is Christian is nations of Europe. Christianity arrived in India almost about the same period as it arrived in Europe, meaning about 2000 years ago.
