Transport in the India is an important part of the nation’s economy. Transport system in India is large and extensive. There are many cheap and affordable means of transportation in India that are available almost everywhere and anytime. Mostly people in India use the large network of railways and roadways in India.  Local transport in India is a highly developed network that connects the busiest places as well as the remotest locales

Buses : Buses are the cheapest mode of local transport in India. In india  almost every city having a well-developed system of buses. It is best to enquire the routes before boarding a bus. It cover long distances in a short time.

Metro Rail : In India all major cities have a well-planned metro rail network. Metro is not available all through in India. Calcutta has the oldest network of metro in India. Delhi have a pretty good system of metro rail. In NCR regions like Noida & Gurgaon also have extensive metro system plans in the pipeline. In Mumbai metro system is under construction. It is one of the best and fast transport system in India.
