Indian Airlines : It is  oldest domestic airline operating in India and government owned
Jet Airways : Jet Airways is a privately owned airline, having the highest market share of Indian domestic traffic.
Paramount Airways : It is a Coimbatore based airline and operates Embraer aircraft.
Kingfisher Airlines : It is a Bangalore based airline and operates only on domestic routes. United Beverages (UB) Group owns this carrier.
Air Sahara : It is New Delhi, Based. Air Sahara is operating on domestic routes and Owned by the Sahara group
IndiGo Airlines : It is a subsidiary of InterGlobe Enterprises and it is new and a private domestic airline based in India.
Air Deccan :  It is a Bangalore based airline
