Geography of Anantapur
Anantapur district is bounded on the north side by Kurnool District, on the southeast side by Chittoor District, on the east side by Kadapa District and on the southwest and west side by Karnataka state. It is the largest district of Andhra Pradesh spanning an area of 19,130 km².
Main Rivers : Pennar is the main river of this district. Chithravathi, Vedavathi, Papagni, Swarnamukhi, and Thadakaleru are the other rivers of this district.

About Anantapur District
